2003: A Season of California Wildflowers - the Western Mojave Desert

Several miles down the road, at Short Canyon, it was even better. The hillsides that made the canyon a canyon were draped with orange and yellow that could be seen from a few miles out. Wow! And in Kernville, well, our visit was the first of several as we moved from winter into spring, and on toward summer, but we'll get to that next time.
