A Day with the Big CatsV: You know they have accommodations and you can stay there overnight, right? E: Yes. That would be a lot of fun and it's something I'd like to do. You'd be able to hear the cats as they prowled through the night. A little scary. V: How long did the tour last? E: We were there about 2 and a half hours. It actually went a little longer than usual because the tour guide was so good about explaining everything so completely and showing us around. Even though it was long, the kids didn't get bored, not even for a minute. V: Can you go at night? E: Yes. My friend went at night during Halloween. She said it was really different just because it was dark and you knew the cats were very near, stalking you in their enclosures. The trainer put on a show with one of the cats acting like he was stalking the trainer. She said the trainer knew what was going to happen but when the panther actually leapt out of the dark, the whole crowd screamed. V: So, overall, did you get your money's worth? E: Yes, most definitely. All of the money goes directly to the upkeep and care of the animals. The price of admission is well worth the experience and if someone has the opportunity to visit Big Cat Rescue, they should do it!
