Candle Magicto do. Color correspondences for candles aren't a "universal" thing; it's more a matter of personal preference over what books may tell you. This is true of most spellwork, because you want to put together symbolism that makes sense to YOU, not the author of your book. Below are the correspondences I use. Feel free to adapt these to suit your own preferences: Red/Pink: Love and other passionate causes. I would tend to use pink for "romantic" love and red for lust/sex. Red is a very energetic color, so you could also use it in workings for your "hot-button" causes if you like. Orange: I don't work a lot with orange, but it's a nice warm color. Could be used to send general "positive energies" to loved ones, or it could also be used in healing endeavors (since orange is the color of orange juice, and we all know how important Vitamin C is to keep us healthy). Yellow: This is an intellectual color, to me, as I associate it with the element Air. I've used yellow candles in spellwork aimed at helping me pass exams. You might also want to use it to help out with job interviews, court cases, or any other issue where you might need an intellectual "boost". Green: This is a money color for me. (Obviously if the money isn't green where you live then you may want to use another color.) I use green for prosperity spells, good luck, positive energies, and workings aimed at helping people find work. Blue: I like blue for healing, as it's a soothing color. I'd also use it for any work aimed at calming stress, or finding serenity. Purple: This is my favorite color, but I don't use purple often for spellwork. Purple, to me, is a more mysterious color. I associate it with my "third eye" charka. I use purple candles for meditation work and while using tarot (if I happen to have any on hand). If you're doing spellwork aimed at strengthening psychic powers than purple may be the right color for you. White: The all-purpose color. You can use white as a stand-in for any other color, charging your candle appropriately. You can also use white in protective magics, especially if you like to imagine someone enveloped in white light as a protective shield. Black: Black candles are good for workings where you're banishing or binding. You could also use them in workings to contact
