Initiation vs Dedication - Page 3

The other main Wiccan Mystery, death and rebirth, can be found in a piece of Wiccan Mythology authored by Gerald Gardner called "The Descent of the Goddess". A version can be found at http://www.starkindler.org/arion/descent... on the Starkindler Wicca website. (Starkindler is a type of British Traditional Wicca.) There are other Mysteries that you may run across in your practice of Wicca. I won't go into a discourse of all those possibilities here.

The important thing to remember is that the method of experiencing the Mysteries isn't the important thing. The experiences are. Whether you experience them by a coven initiation or sitting in your backyard during a thunderstorm, they are an integral part of what makes a Wiccan a Wiccan. In the face of such power, insight, and knowledge it seems pretty silly to get hung up on which definition is more "valid", doesn't it?
