Dijon Pork Chops

This week I tried an extremely quick and easy pork chop recipe called Dijon Pork Chops. All you do is coat the chops with Dijon mustard and a mixture of bread crumbs and pepper, then bake them in the oven for about 30 minutes. How simple!

Too bad the chops didn’t taste all that great. We gave them a 3-star rating for “pretty good.” There was nothing special about these pork chops, and the hint of Dijon was barely recognizable. This wasn’t a dish that I’ll be making again, though if you’re looking for a fast and simple recipe for pork chops, you may want to try it out.

Have a good week and good eating!

Dijon Pork Chops

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
4 boneless pork loin chops
¼ cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
Dash of pepper

Preparation:
Spread mustard on both sides of pork chops and place in a shallow 2-qt. baking dish that’s been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Combine bread crumbs and pepper; press onto tops and sides of chops. Bake, uncovered, at 375°F for 25-30 minutes or until meat juices run clear and topping is lightly browned.
