This week I have to share with you the recipe for an absolutely scrumptious apple cake. It's the perfect time of year for baking with apples, and this moist cake is a must-bake. My husband's grandparents visited recently, and his grandmother brought her homemade apple cake with her. It was gone in two days.

The recipe is credited to her father, so this a recipe that's been around for over one hundred years, I'm sure. It seems as if those old recipes are always quite delicious. They sure did know how to cook and bake back then, that's for sure!

Of course, I have to give this cake five stars in the ratings. It's so incredible! Hope your family enjoys it as much as mine.

Have a good week and good eating!
