Okay, now you've learned a little about the history of Big Littles, Better Littles, Saalfield Publishing, Books for Little Hands, Blue Ribbon Books, Goldsmith and whomever else published the dandy gems of literature. I actually saw a new one at the local Big Box Book Store recently. Whitman ( I believe), had reprinted the Star Wars story! Hidden behind a stack of books, it soon disappeared into a collection, never to be seen by ungloved hands again.

In terms of types of books that people collect, there are no rules.

You can find people that collect : 1. Buck Rogers, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Lone Ranger, Little Orphan Annie

2. Books with Carl Barks artwork

3. Disney BLB's

4. Science Fiction BLB

5. Tarzan and related BLB

6. Complete runs, or more commonly, incomplete runs

7. Super hero books 8. Specific Publishers

9. Radio related BLB's

10. Photo cover BLB's

11. And so on.
