The long wait is over. Walker has made it to DVD. Unfortunately, only the last season (so far), has been released, but that is plenty for the Walker fan!

For those of you not familiar with Walker, Texas Ranger, sit tight. Chuck Norris stars as Texas Ranger Cordell Walker who still believes in the code of the west. His team consists of his wife (this season), D A Alex Cahill, Jimmy Trevette, and sometimes CD (bar owner/former Ranger). Two up and coming Rangers, Sydney Cooke and Francis Gage share the adventures. Action? You bet. With a dedication born out of pure faith and trust in the law (and God), these folks fight crime in Dallas. Drug cartels, mob hits, and kidnappings are not out of their area of expertise. All right then. Let's get down to the set. Great graphics all throughout the sturdy cases, and the useful episode synopsis on each case make this an easy 'pick the episode to watch' set. The quality of the reproduction is good, just wish the 'insert commercial break here' pause and fade could have been eliminated.

This seasons' episodes are great. The "White Buffalo' explores Walkers' native background, and somehow finds him experiencing visions. The "Chairman" storyline runs numerous episodes, and culminates in the final episode, and a thrilling fight to the near death. Medieval Knights, wrestling rings, movie sets, basketball leagues and even police brutality can be found in the series.

Regular stars Chuck Connors, Sheree J Wilson, Clarence Gilyard, Nia Peeples, and Judson Mills are joined by Hulk Hogan, Dionne Warwick, Ernest Borgnine in this classic series. I love the link with legendary Ranger Cooper Hayes that keeps popping up. Too bad another series couldn't have been done with his adventures.

"Walker, Texas Ranger" during its run was highly acclaimed by viewers and authorities everywhere for its messages on bullying, drug use, domestic abuse and faith. Like the generations that grew up on the Lone Ranger, we grew up on Walker, Texas Ranger, and learned those simple truths that can be so strong.

Walker Texas Ranger can be found at your local video store, or online at the Skull Cave Movie store, or at www.paramount.com/homeentertainment.

Thanks Mr Connors.

By the way, Mr Connors operates a studio outside Dallas called Walker Family Films which produces and distributes quality entertainment. Clarence Gilyard can be found in the Left Behind Series films.
