Contemporary Writers Fire In The Rainbow-Stephen Overholser From the pen of a second generation story teller, comes 'Fire in the Rainbow'. Wayne D Overholser, Spur winning author and father of Stephen, should be proud of this tale. In Red Rock County, Colorado, there are tales of missing cattle with doctored brands being sold across the border in New Mexico. Deputy Sherif Cale must do his duty and investigate the missing cattle; trouble is, someone in the town doesn't want him finding out WHO the rustlers are. The rustlers and the law are in for a fight, and only one can win. Red Wind Crossing-John D Nesbitt Women are trouble, and pretty women are even more trouble. Clevis knew that, and when he saw Helen, he wanted to help. The more he helped, the more trouble he got in. His challenge was to free himself and Helen from her past of deceit and murder, and to free him to face his own destiny. Morgette and the Shadow Bomber-G G Boyer The story of Dolf Morgette keeps growing. G G Boyer, in his Morgette series, continues on in 'The Shadow Bomber' in his traditional thrill a page style. His family's mansion in Pine Bluff, Idaho is bombed, and the angry miners are suspected. When Dolf Morgette, lawman, comes to investigate, he finds out more than he bargained for. The result is an adventure worth reading, and reading again, and again. Wilderness #41-By Duty Bound-David Thompson The popular western series, Wilderness, continues on in 'By Duty Bound.' 'By Duty Bound' is the story of the Fort Leavenworth detachment led by Lieutenant Phillip Pickforth and their orders to investigate the reports of a vicious massacre. The prevailing rumour is that the Shoshones and Zachary King, are responsible. When the soldiers finally arrive in the Rocky Mountains, they find more than they bargain for and with help.
