Learn Welsh This YearThe new Learn Welsh page really does seem to contain all the resources a learner might need to get started, but it also doesn't neglect the more seasoned student of Welsh. Weekly news bulletins-"Yr Wythnos"-are provided in streaming audio and accompanied by a vocabulary list. And those who need to improve their Welsh skills for employment purposes (probably not residents here in the U.S.!) can use the Welsh in the Workplace section, which contains "video scenarios and virtual environments to practice your Welsh at work." Lastly, the exam revision guides in Bitesize TGAU are sure to help not only those taking Welsh in school but anyone who needs more practice. The Learn Welsh site also links to all the general news and other services provided by BBC Wales and BBC Cymru'r Byd. Don't miss either of these sites if you are truly dedicated to learning and improving your Welsh. Both have done their best to make the online realm just as valuable to language learners as traditional means of study, and they have succeeded in performing a wonderful service. Happy learning, and hwyl am y tro (goodbye for now)!
