The Dysgwr's Diary, Part Five: Short Conversations

Here's an example, using a conversation I had this past Thursday with the gorgeous, tasty, lovely, dark-haired Elen. Again, the first version is the one that actually took place. See how many of my mistakes you can spot-grammatical mistakes, not social faux pas-before scrolling down to the corrected dialogue. If you don't understand a vocabulary word, try an online dictionary such as the one on BBC's Learn Welsh site

Dafydd: Wel, helo Elen, sut ydy ti?
Elen: O, noswaith dda, Dafydd! Dw i'n dda iawn, diolch. A tithau?
Dafydd: Dw i wedi'n gweithio galed iawn heddiw, a dw i wedi blino. Ond, dw i'n well achos rwyt ti'n yma nawr.
Elen: Wel 'te, dwyt ti ddim yn rhy flinedig i gael peint 'da fi, wyt ti?
Dafydd: Nag wyt, wrth gwrs! Dw i byth yn rhy blinedig i hynny.
(Maen nhw'n mynd i fwrdd gwag i gael sgwrs breifat.)
Elen: O, dyna neis. Tipyn bach o dawelwch. Mae dy Gymraeg di wedi gwella, Dafydd!
Dafydd: Diolch yn fawr iawn, Elen. A-ym-mae dy Cymraeg di'n hyfryd bob amser. Fel chi!
Elen: Www, mynci haerllug wyt ti!

Now, here's my corrected version of the dialogue. I've put the corrected words or phrases in bold. Most of them are incorrect mutations, verb form problems, or pronoun problems.

Dafydd: Wel, helo Elen, sut wyt ti?
Elen: O, noswaith dda, Dafydd! Dw i'n dda iawn, diolch. A tithau?
Dafydd: Dw i wedi bod yn gweithio'n galed iawn heddiw, a dw i wedi blino. Ond, dw i'n well achos rwyt ti yma nawr.
Elen: Wel 'te, dwyt ti ddim yn rhy flinedig i gael peint 'da fi, wyt ti?
Dafydd: Nag ydw, wrth gwrs! Dw i byth yn rhy flinedig i hynny.
(Maen nhw'n mynd i fwrdd gwag i gael sgwrs breifat.)
Elen: O, dyna neis. Tipyn bach o dawelwch. Mae dy Gymraeg di wedi gwella, Dafydd!
Dafydd: Diolch yn fawr iawn, Elen. A-ym-mae dy Gymraeg di'n hyfryd bob amser. Fel ti!
Elen: Www, mynci haerllug wyt ti!

Did you find all the mistakes? Believe me, it took me a while to figure out some of the more nit-picky problems. I'm not sure I'll ever figure out when to use "yn" or not. On the other hand (ar y llaw arall yn Gymraeg), I am sure I made a distinct impression on Elen.
