Holiday Buying GuideIf you're looking for learning materials for adults, a great way to go is Get Fluent, a CD-ROM of pdf worksheets with a variety of exercises in grammar and vocabulary. The worksheets are suitable for learners at different skill levels, from high beginner to advanced, depending on whether you want a challenge or a review! Produced by the folks at Clwb Malu Cachu, this set of lessons is entertaining, challenging, and comprehensive. There are also a number of software packages that teach Welsh using various methods-check my article guides to Welsh Language CD-ROMS Part I and Part II for specific information on Dyna Hwyl, Cadw Swn, Rosetta Stone, and others. Cerddoriaeth a Ffilmau - Music and Movies One of the greatest places to find Welsh music of all kinds is the recording company Sain, which sells music from traditional to modern pop. For now, they're redesigning their site, so you can find Sain products as well as a number of other products-movies, books, gifts, and more-at Na-Nôg, a large online Welsh shop. Movies, music, books, and TV shows are also available from the online shop for television station S4C. I found their shop difficult to find on their website-I recommend going to "websites a-z" and then clicking on "S" in the right-hand index to find a link to the shop. However, you can find most of the S4C products at Sain or Gwales, too. The company Fflach focuses on traditional music as well as music and videos for children. Lastly, for a variety of CDs, tapes, DVDs, instruments, and musical-themed gifts, visit Cerdd Ystwyth--they also sell a wide selection of Welsh sheet music, something that may be hard to find outside of Wales! Anrhegion - Gifts I have two words when it comes to buying random Welsh gifts for yourself, friends, or family-Wales Direct. They have just about everything Welsh you can think of. From traditionally Welsh items such as lovespoons or the South Wales delicacy laverbread, to gifts like Celtic-patterned jewelry, Draig Goch tea towels, books, and kitchen items, you'll find no end of lovely and reasonably priced goods. Also, don't forget Na-Nôg (listed above) for more gifts. Time's quickly running out for holiday shopping, so get to it-this list should help you have Gwyliau Hapus, Nadolig Llawen, and Blwyddyn Newydd Dda (Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year)!
