Equinox in the Moon Garden

of silvery Helichrysum 'Moe's Gold' here and there.

Did I miss anyone? White nierembergia, white annual statice, white ageratum (not a real fave, it browns out so...) white japanese dianthus and of course no Moon Garden would be complete without Sweet Allysum. Amazing the 18" x 18" mats that grew from those tiny 2" x 2" cell-packs.

When the moon IS full it is a place of such otherworldly enchantment. The white flowers reflect the moonlight and the scents of the Datura and Nicotiana and Alyssum waft and float around as you walk through. I understand that photographing a Moon Garden by moonlight is a nearly impossible task requiring an utterly still night. You have to have your shutter speed SO low that the slightest breeze will blur everything.

If old Jack Frost will just hold out one more full moon I just might try it....
