The search for a photographer can be a long and painful one. Prices are high, quality varies, you really should check references... This isn't even including all of the decisions about the actual photographs (why don't we tackle that another time?)
One of the premiere wedding sites has recently teamed up with Kodak and a leading wedding photographer to make this ordeal easier on the stressed out couple. The news was released on April 8 that The Knot, Kodak, and Denis Reggie will be opening shop with the Wedding Photographers Network.
The Network already includes over 1000 photographers around the US. With such recognizable backing, these numbers are growing quickly.
Customers will be able to search the database free of charge. Imagine, no more calls and cards, and rumors! You can search for your photographer by location, price, and style. Photographers can buy packages that will list their vital stats, link to their web pages, even include their portfolios in the Network's database.
