Wedding veils are not often the first thing a bride thinks of when shopping for the big day. However, there's a bigger difference than you may have guessed.
Traditionally, the bride wears the veil over her face. Are you planning on this? If so, you'll want a light material that sits correctly over your face. You don't want it to fly up while you walk down the aisle, distract you from important business like a ceremony, or be so light you end up spending half your time spitting veil out of your freshly lipsticked mouth.
For veils worn behind the dress, you need to think about hairstyle and dress style. You can choose an extra long veil that will float down the aisle with you. You can incorporate the veil into an elaborate hair do. You can choose a filmy veil that will show off an intricate dress back, or a more detailed veil that can fill in for a plainer dress back.
For the braver bride, wedding hats may be an option. These can take the place of a veil with style and class.
Why so much care put into a veil? Easy, most people will spend most of your wedding looking at your back Make sure to look your best from all angles.
