Kyra and Mike are getting married! What, you don't know them? Not to worry, neither do I - but I sure would like to. We have a genuine met-on-the-Internet-and-fell-in-love-in-real-life-about-to-live-happily-ever-after" couple here! Of course, they wouldn't be a real internet couple without their
own wedding page. Here's the quick story: Kyra takes a great license picture;
Mike gets published on the Penn and Teller page.
They attend the same events and are even in the same video together, but they never
meet. Love found them on the USY listserv where they both promise they were looking
the other way. Their site is unique for a few reasons
- They don't ooze cotton candy sweetness and gooey sentiments. They sound like fun,
and seem to be really in love but are still strong individuals. Of course, since I
didn't know them before they may have changed drastically - in which case, viva la
difference!
- online Thank You cards.
Plug in your gift and attendance and presto, you have an instant thank you from the
happy couple.
- They named their wedding. Read the FAQs to find out why.
- Their faith is obviously important and they share info about it . This can help
to understand a Jewish wedding or plan one!
They also have the standard inclusions like registries and photos. Just imagine, their wedding is still almost a year away. This is a page to return to as they evolve (the page
and the couple).

Online is a good start, if you get together and verify the online impressions. Exactly as you point out, you can be either more real OR more false here. Quite possibly a mix of both. At this point, ...
