There are a million things to think about when you're getting married and even more to do lists from companies that want you to remember their product first. There is also a long list of this to remember that you won't find on those lists:
1. Construction-Make sure that there is not going to be any construction going on in your building or on roads leading from the most used hotel to your ceremony location. Double check day of and make sure that guests have a map with an alternate route. Waiting for guests isn't as bad as waiting for an unsuspecting party member who got caught in traffic. 2. Assign someone to paper duty. You will want all of your forms after your honeymoon and someone should know where to find them. 3. Flowers-Have people on hand who know how to pin them on wriggling men and anxious grandmas. 4. Antacid-Someone is going to need it before the ceremony begins. Heck, it doesn't hurt to hand it out to everyone involved. 5. Check the back of the bride's hair before letting her walk down the aisle. The back is what the guests will be looking at for the next hour. 6. If the bride has a train, have the person in charge of keeping it straight PRACTICE before the big day. You could end up with a dress far too high in the air (trust me on this one). 7. Music-Let your musician have some time to warm up, spare parts (i.e. strings) and make sure any borrowed instruments are tuned. 8. If one person is singing, provide them with a mug of water or warm tea to drink during the ceremony. Go To Page: 1
