With the pond settling in for a season of rest in many colder regions, the number of
chores have gone down significantly. The fish no longer need to be fed. The plants have
gone dormant or in the case of many tropicals simply died. These should of course be
removed to prevent decay in the water. This can be a very blank time for the water
garden. The perfect time to plan for next year. Would you like to landscape better? Add
to or enlarge your pond? Create a better filtration system? All of these possible changes
can be seen more clearly during this time of your. As for plants, catalogs and more importantly books can provide much by way of eye
