Places to Go and Things to Do in 2002 - Part VI

a little different, like the two I've mentioned below.

Book a Romance Week-end at an Inn or Hotel

Best Romantic Inns lists a bevy of places to stay for a romantic getaway such as the Ann Starret Mansion in Port Townsend built in 1889 as a wedding gift to a wealthy contractor's wife. This Victorian lovely features antiques throughout and a bountiful breakfast. Or for those who like snow and rustic retreats, the Honeymoon cabin at the Alta Crystal Resort may fit the bill. If you like to ski there are lift ticket rates also. Midweek rates are a bit lower.

Both of these sound like heaven to me! How about you?

This is making me hungry for some chocolate. So get on over to read about where to get some Washington State chocolate at http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/3983... , http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/wash... and http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/wash... - enjoy!

Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day to you all! Love yourselves!

Update February 6, 2002: Be sure to check out the discussion on "Valentines Day with Wild Things." Northwest Trek is planning an unusual dinner this weekend. Go to http://www.suite101.com/discussion.cfm/w... .
