Leavenworth, Washington's Bavarian Village - Page 2

The drive to Leavenworth in the Cascades is beautiful any time of the year. Do prepare for snow in the winter. But right now enjoy the sunshine and all the fun and yummy things to do in town.

Walk around town and spend at least a few hours there. Driving through you can't really experience the feel of the town. If you're a "people-watcher" this is a good place to stay awhile and enjoy your browsing.

This town has survived the demise of logging as its major industry and town fires. It's still going strong - the little town that could and did.

If you don't visit, you're missing an important piece of our culture, so do include this in your state tour. When you're in town throw caution to the wind, sit a while and take it all in.

Maybe I'll see you there!
