Chefs may purchase Aberdeen truffles at this site: http://truffles.pippin.aberdeen.wa.us/ - I've not eaten one, but they've always intrigued me. I'd certainly not know about this just driving through town.

Attend the local community theatre, The Driftwood - more info at http://www.techline.com/driftwood. Charley's Aunt is currently playing.

If you want to hang out a while grab a motel or hotel room ( http://www.usa-lodging.com/motels/washin... ) or a bed and breakfast ( http://www.go-native.com/Washington/WA.A... ).

See a photo of The Lady Washington Tall Ship at http://www.cranberrycoastcoc.com/ladywa.... - this ships docks in Aberdeen and lands and sails out of Westport on special occasions. The Lady Washington is a replica of the original ship Captain Gray sailed into Grays Harbor and was built in Aberdeen. The site sports a good look at the Chehalis River in Aberdeen, which is downtown.

This site lists all the activities going on in Aberdeen right now: http://www.cranberrycoastcoc.com/quart2.... with some pleasing music! This weekend of April 27th is the Spring Clam Dig. Don't miss this week-end's crab races and crab feed in nearby Westport either!

Have a great time! Maybe I'll see you there.
