I'm deep into the Christmas Spirit this year. It's fun to shop for others and find "just the right thing" to please family and friends on Christmas morning. I start early and even buy gifts all year long if I see something that's appropriate for a family member. The only problem with that is I sometimes forget I bought things! That's why I have a special place to put things away; I don't always remember to check it, though.
Are you ready for Christmas? How about some gift ideas from Washington State? If you're strapped for time or just can't decide what to get, Accents Et'cetera from Redmond, WA, does gift baskets. They do a nice Christmas selection from $8.99 to $99.99 and ship to your destination. They also have a nice selection of gifts under $35 and do baskets for all occasions. Visit them at http://store.estreet.com/accentsetc/Stor... . Computer Gear from Redmond, WA, has a cool Swiss knife with 64 MB USB memory drive and LED mini light. Imagine! It's $74.99 and is certainly a unique gift for your computer geek friend or family member. See it at http://www.store.yahoo.com/computergear/... . They also ship. Check out the other items or get a hard copy of their catalog. How about some recycled circuit board earrings for $19.99? Really cool. Do you like paper goods? I do. Find some glittery paper and gifts at glamscience of Seattle. How about a handmade glittery stitch marker for the knitter you love, or a glittery felt bracelet for that teen you don't know what to buy. They're $12. They also sell glittery stationery. Visit http://www.glamscience.com/ to check out what they offer. Unfortunately you have to click "add to basket" to get the price, but an extra click is okay, I guess. Shop Made in Washington Online for great gifts with a flavor of Washington. At the time I wrote this they were having a special on Smoked Salmon Chowder or Chili, buy three get one free. How about a Seattle's Best Blues CD for $19.95? Or a Washington calendar with some great photography for $9.95? They have a "12 Favorite Gifts" page filled with enticing items like a Seattle cookbook, $31.95; hardwood Lazy Susan, $37.95; a fish-shaped black iron wine rack, $54.95 or unique glass cheese tray for $34.95. Visit the site to see all the great items made in Washington, http://www.madeinwashington.com/shop.cfm . They even have pet treats. If you've got a wood carver friend, how about some Santa Claus carving books from Reasons to Believe in Kirkland? They carry wooden St. Nicks, nativities and other Christmas collectibles. How about a "Ba Humbug" sign for $14.95 to coax someone into that Christmas spirit? These and lots more are available at http://www.reasonstobelieve.com/Merchant... . They carry some delightful Santa carvings. Go To Page: 1 2
