Port Angeles - I Can't Stay Away!

All good things pass, so we had to leave. We took the Winslow ferry at Bainbridge Island back to Seattle and Interstate 90 on the way home. The Puget Sound waters were glistening as we took our first look in a long time at the fascinating Seattle waterfront, skyscrapers overpowering the Space Needle. Seeing Ivar's Acres of Clams brought back lots of memories. It was exciting on the way across Puget Sound to Seattle to see a freighter pass that had left its berth in Port Angeles when we were there earlier in the morning, now crossing the path of our ferry.

I'll leave you with some links so you may take a cyber tour of the area, but you really have to experience it for yourself. It's one of the "must-do's" of the Pacific Northwest.
