After awhile, we had enough of the techno music in the background and the McVeigh images, so we ditched our bottles and headed back out into Blagden Alley. We walked back to the Metro the shorter way, past a few more boarded-up windows, the skeleton of the convention center, a church and a housing project. (Don't worry, Mom—two of us had cell phones...) Perhaps we'll return to Signal 66 for another dose of contemporary art. But if we do go back, we're definitely taking a cab.
