After THREE MARLENAS finally ended, the band played GOD DON'T MAKE LONELY GIRLS, followed by MURDER 101. Lead singer Jakob Dylan said to the audience: "How are you guys?" The audience cheered. "So far, you're all right?" Jakob asked. "Welcome to `Storytellers.' The cameras are on, just be yourself." He spotted Sandy back in the audience and started talking to her: "You're back! When I was younger and got to stand in front, if I left, I couldn't get back up there again." He teasingly told her: "The microphone possibly may be over for you. But I want to watch you sing this one. You really dropped the ball there. The mike is off, but I'm looking at you." As the band played ONE HEADLIGHT, Jakob watched Sandy sing along and said to her, "That's much better!" He then looked at the audience and feigned a shortness of breath so that the audience would sing the lyrics of the song for him.

After ONE HEADLIGHT concluded, Jakob said: "You know, in all our videos, it was always just us. But one of them costarred . . . you guys like dinosaurs?" As the audience cheered, the band played HEROES. Jakob responded to the enthusiastic audience by saying: "You guys are great, really. Thank you." As one guy kept yelling for the song "Josephine", Jakob spoke to another audience member who was trying to talk to him: "You gotta speak up. I'm shy too. I'm shy but not quiet, I'm loud." Then Jakob turned his attention to the rest of the audience. "We're going to try one more," he said. "You guys have been fantastic. Thank you." The band played THE DIFFERENCE. Among the cheers, Jakob said "Thank you, guys!" The band then left the stage.

A few minutes later, guitarist Michael Ward, bassist Greg Richling, and drummer Mario Calire returned to the stage to perform a cover of "Song 2." Mike introduced Mario and Greg before he started singing. After the song, Jakob and keyboardist Rami Jaffee returned to the stage, and Jakob introduced Mike to the audience. The full band played BABYBIRD. Afterwards, Jakob said, "I think one of the guys called out for JOSEPHINE. It's not often that you get a big, burly guy asking for JOSEPHINE. We tried it out in sound check. So let's see how far we get. We might get tired of it real quick." The band played JOSEPHINE without any hitch (it was unusual for the band to play an audience request--but a welcome occurrence). As Jakob started speaking ("I'm not sure that . . ."), a guy yelled out "Freebird!" A bit miffed, Jakob replied, "Okay, `Freebird' is in, everybody." To the shouter, he asked, "Is this your first rock show? Your first rock concert? Is it going okay? A rock show isn't complete until someone yells out `Freebird.' Okay, this is `Freebird'--take a listen." The band played WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN. After the song finished, a fan held up a shirt with "The Who" logo on it, and threw it onstage to Jakob. Ninety minutes after the concert began, Jakob ended the evening with the words: "Thank you Poughkeepsie. We'll be back soon."
