This article may appear to have little to do with Wales’s history, but in truth the birthday of the Queen Mother truly can highlight history in and of itself.
Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother is 101 years young today. And she is truly the ‘mum’ of this nation. It is truly a momentous day in the history of the entire United Kingdom. This grand lady has seen so much in her lifetime, and yes, she has had closeness with the people of Wales.
It is my wish to use just a bit of this space to wish a special lady great happiness on this day, and to express my appreciation to be a part of this wonderful day.
