Caution - Construction Zone - Caution - Construction Zone

Dear Readers: I tell you this only by way of explanation. I feel an obligation to the several hundred of you who have subscribed here, and everyone who reads what I put here. The dot-com meltdown has tossed us a really nasty surprise here at Suite 101 in just the past couple of days. It has made for a rather hairy start to this young and very New Year! We will be here, and writing, and not going under, at least for awhile yet. Thank heavens! But a reorganization is necessary, and soon! So, you might not see as many articles, or find as many writers, but, personally, I intend to sit tight and see how it all shakes down. And I will be putting my latest Visual Arts article online here very soon. I intend to carry on a little more with the printmaking connection, since it seems to interest a lot more people than I had ever imagined. And there are so many new printmaking techniques in the works right now, many of which I haven't even tried yet.

So please hang on here at the Suite with us while we weather this upheaval. I guess we need one of those old "Construction Zone" banners! It should be very interesting to see what it all looks like when the dust settles. (Here you can mentally insert your favorite little image.)

There is a hard-working and passionate crew here who are also very creative. Let's see how it pans out. Creatives have a way of being - well - creative, so the results should be very interesting - in the long term and the short term. One thing, though - I do not see Suite 101 turning into one of the money-making porn sites. Nope. We will do it differently. Feel free to start a discussion here in the Discussion area, or e-mail me with your own comments and/or ideas. Be interactive. We are real people in here.

Regular article coming within a few more hours... and oh! - HAPPY NEW YEAR! A palindrome year (the same, forward or backward.) 2002. A symbolic clean slate, a blank page. So, pick up your pencils and... Let's make this a better year.
