Where Do Gardeners Go in Winter?

a cold, hard decision. Do you really have room for all those plants?

Back you go, again, to narrow down those lists. If you're like me when Spring comes you'll be in a panic because you're just not ready yet.

Read great garden books
There are so many to choose from that all of us can certainly find enough to get us through winter. I like a balance of practical books that I use as references and other that are just plain good reads. I've listed three of my current favorites at the top of my welcome page but there are so many other really good ones that this article could go on forever.

Instead I'm going to end this now and ask you what your own favorite garden books are. Maybe we can find a way to let those people who are trying to find you the perfect gift to see which ones you want to read, and which ones you recommend to others. There is no better winter companion than a great gardening book. I'll try to mention some next week.

Meanwhile, I hope this week's suggestions will help you to weather the winter in better than usual style.
