grounds and watch for signs and symptoms of water bourne disease. No one gets sick and finally the water is declared safe.

The storm has subsided and the sunshine and some normality returns to southern France. There is a glorious sunset this evening, hopefully it is an omen for what is to come.

As we travel to the surrounding villages we are saddened to realise the full extent of the damage. However, with amazing spirit the people quickly begin cleanup, repair and restoration.
