London, Buddy Holly and The Eye

light lunch in the Tate, just down theroad, we walk along the river to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the Millennium Bridge, the first new bridge to cross the Thames in one hundred years. Unfortunately this pedestrian overpass is closed, as there are some problems with this new structure.

Too soon we have to leave London, one of our favorite cities. We rise early to catch the fast train under the English Channel to Paris, then another train to Grenoble, where we will spend the night.
