Meatless Meals: Vegetarian Dinners to Die ForEach week my faithful readers return to see what vegetarian capers I am up to. Pun intended. It's about time that those who have stuck with me for the past few months were rewarded. This week, I am introducing a contest that will run until mid-January. It's called, "Meatless Meals: Vegetarian Dinners to Die For". The rules are simple: just submit your best vegetarian dinner recipe between now and January twelfth and it will be judged by our panel of expert tasters (my family). The person who submits the best culinary treat will receive a brand new copy of The Vegetarian Times Complete Cookbook. If I weren't running this contest, I would definitely be entering it!
The Rules (just enough to keep the whole thing civilized):
The recipes will be judged by a panel which includes a vegetarian, a partial vegetarian, a carnivore and a child. In other words, I'm going to serve it to my family. All of the taster's opinions will be considered and the recipe with the most appeal to the whole family will be the winner. What we would like to see are meals that are delicious by any standards and can be served to a family of differing tastes. The winning recipe will be published in an upcoming Vegetarian Woman article and posted on The Vegetarian Woman web site. So, post your best creations and modifications on the message board below or mail them to liloia@earthlink.net. Remember to include your name and e-mail so I can contact you. Keep in mind that I will be preparing the meals exactly as your instructions indicate, so double-check their accuracy before posting. Let the games begin!
