In a weakened state she still manages to feed on The Shark, but doesn't kill him, therefore turning him into a vampire.

You can imagine the implications from there. There's enough power in just being a mob boss. But an immortal mob boss?!?

I'll leave it at that--you should really see the movie. And be on the lookout for some of the minor role players. Don Rickles plays The Shark's lawyer. Frank Oz, who has done the voices for Yoda and Grover, appears to conduct an autopsy. And directors Sam Raimi and Dario Argento make cameo appearances.
