romance novels, go, but not as romance readers go. I've received a tremendous amount of positive feedback from my first plus size novel heroine, Angie, in The Fall of Troy. The response was so positive that readers urged me to write another one. I did (Full Bodied Charmer) and now I've received requested for yet another story with a full figured gal.

So I think that there's a large segment of the romance readership that can and do identify with my "different" heroines, who are sometimes more like them than are the "normal" ultra beautiful, and perfect size ten heroine found in traditional romances.

In Bloodlust II, not only do you explore a black heroine in love with a white male, but you tackle such delicate issues as multiple partners, group sex and voyeurism by making it part of the vampire culture. When I used to watch Forever Knight, I always wanted more romance. So when I began writing vampire novels, making their romances rather than horror, was a natural process for me.

Did your idea of the Feast of Indulgence, have anything to do with the Vulcan Pon Farr?
As a Star Trek Fan I am aware of Pon Farr, but it didn't factor into my creation of the Feast of Indulgence (at least not on a conscious level). When the idea for the feast came up, I was looking for a vehicle that would allow my vampires to be a little wicked with other women after they're met their bloodlust (while still appearing hero-like).
