INTERVIEW

First, tell us a little about yourself?
I first started getting published in 1992 with underground zines. In 1996 I went to the net with the hopes of getting my name out there more and publishing eBooks. I had submitted my first book to an eBook publisher before I even had access to online. It was just sending to another publisher.

I have been a vegetarian since 1992. I do eat dairy and eggs and I am not vegan. I did try to go vegan when I first started but I misses cheese and eggs so much more so than meat.

You call yourself a Gothic poet. Define what you mean by the terms Gothic Poet.
Gothic to me is something that struggles between horror and spiritual radiance. Its about striving for goodness in the mist of haunting life. Its also cheap therapy.

The artwork in Crimson Kisses is very nice, is that some of your artwork? If not who is the artist and where did you find it?
The publisher chose the artwork; I was not the artist. I am an artist, but my art is off-kilter made with clay. Sometimes I am allowed to choose the artist, sometimes not. I have worked with great artists such as Anne O'Konski and Kym Jones.

Some samples of my artwork are at http://www.geocities.com/Paris/LeftBank/...
You can also find a free gothic poetry eBook and some of my art and poetry at
