things a bit, hence the soil issue and the taboo on entering.
Your view of witches and witch craft is quite different from what I expected. These aren't black magic, devil worshipers. The vampires aren't pitted against demons from hell in a magic contest. In fact, these are very ordinary people whose spells often don't work. Petty, greedy, hungry for power, but not evil. How did you come to write them that way? First off, I think Sebastian IS evil ... unbalanced yes, but definitely evil ... obsessed with power...the rest of the coven I saw as rather weak people following a powerful leader ... sort of lesser Manson or Jim Jones if you like. I see them as followers of the Old Religion who've gone very, very much awry. Tell us about Rapture in Moonlight? Rapture in Moonlight is set in the U.S., in German Village in Ohio to be exact. Dixie and Kit have settled there. He doesn't fall for a mortal, his love life is even more complicated. BOOK REVIEW Walk In The Moonlight

She discovers that she has not only inherited a lovely old home near the village green, but quite a bit of money from two great aunts, whom she had never seen. From the very beginning strange things happen, little things that soon escalate into murder, but being a spunky American heroine, Dixie refuses to be scared away and sets out to solve the mystery. Very Agatha Christie. Or maybe Phyllis Whitney, since
