Tell us about what you are currently working on.
- Currently I'm working on the fifth book entitled Sins of the Flesh. This is the story of Alexandre, the vampire head of the Council of Elders and Sunni - a young vampire. Set in New Orleans, vampires are turning up dead, burned to the bone and it's up to Alexandre and Sunni to uncover the cause. There's a lot more to this book but it's complicated to come up with a synopsis when I'm still writing the book. :)

THE SHADOW DWELLERS
J. C. Wilder's Shadow Dwellers series is first romance with the requisite devastatingly handsome heros, stupid misunderstandings to keep the fated lovers apart, and lots of sex, where the irresistibly sexy hero forces the heroine to give into her body's demands and fulfills her, and every other woman's, passionate fantasies. I must admit the sex scenes are better written than the standard fare, nicely erotic with some inventive touches.
I liked these books. So maybe I like romances after all, despite cringing at the overbearing macho masculinity of the hero and the weak-kneed submission of the heroine, the irrationality of stupid misunderstandings, the lack of simple communication, and the perfection of "love" Well, maybe I don't like romances.
But the stories are dramatic enough to overcome those failings. There are darkly evil vampires and wicked witches to oppose the good Shadow Dwellers. In One with the Hunger, Shai Jordan is stalked by an obsessed serial killer, a vampire name Mikhail, who killed her mother and now plans to make her his.
Mikhail returns in Retribution, seeking to gain power over all the Shadow Dwellers and destroy Shai and his arch enemy and her vampire lover, Valentin, as well as Shai's friend and revenant, Jennifer, and her lover, a revenant Druid priest Conor. In Shameless, another of Shai's friends, Erihn, finds eternal love with a were-cat, Fayne, while continuing the struggle against Mikhail. Redemption introduces witches, Quinn as the good witch, Mortianna, his mother, as the wicked witch, and Maeve, as a revenant with a burning desire for revenge against Mikhail who made her a revenant and murdered her
