romantic element, I love romance. Love and relationships that we have
are what makes the world go round.
What do you like best about writing about the paranormal? What interests you? - Probably the lack of boundaries. Writers are bound by the conventions of the world in which they are writing. Someone writing a historical set in the 19th century can't have their characters fly a plane because they don't exist. I, as a paranormal writer, can bend reality as long as my readers buy into the world that I'm creating. - As for what interests me, everything does. I'm a voracious reader and I can't think of a period in history that doesn't interest me. I would love to dabble in futuristics at some point. Some people loved it while others were shocked to their core. To each his own. In my writing, the line between erotica and romance is very thin. I write erotic romance. My books contain quite a bit of graphic sex but it cannot be out of character. I wouldn't take a virginal librarian and toss her in bed on the second page, it wouldn't work as it would be out of character for her. In the industry, erotica is defined as a book heavy with sex and sexual innuendo. Romance is the story of a growing relationship between a man and a woman - sex is not a necessary component. As for whether or not I feel the Shadow Dweller books are erotica or romance, they are a mix. One with the Hunger is definately erotica. The
