DisneyWorld - Magical Magic KingdomTips for Visitors: 1. Buy tickets in advance either at your travel agent prior to departure, or at your hotel, if possible. Queues at the gate will cut an hour off your sightseeing schedule. 2. Purchasing a multi-park ticket is good value. If you have a Disney pass for a number of days, you can travel on the buses, and monorail for free between the parks for the amount of days you have the pass for. Some passes are for days that are not consecutive, which means you can visit other Orlando attractions in between the Disney days. 3. It is HOT! You will be outside most of the time. If the attractions are indoors, you may still find yourself waiting in a queue outside in the direct glare of the sun so make sure you have plenty of drinks and sunscreen. 4. Buy a guidebook or study the publicity material in advance of your visit so that you know what exhibits you really want to see and where they are. Popular exhibits have the longest queues and it is wise to arrive early for these. 5. Upon arriving at the kingdom locate the tip board in Main Street USA. This will give you not only the times of various performances, but also the wait times for the more popular rides and exhibits 6. Food and drink is available for purchase at the Magic Kingdom but it is expensive. 7. The people who work at the Magic Kingdom are friendly and if you are lost, or need some advice, they are more than helpful in sorting out your problem. 8. There are plenty of gift stores at the Magic Kingdom, but again, they are expensive. Unless you must have something that was actually purchased on Main Street, you could buy similar keepsakes at an ordinary gift store in Orlando. 9. If you can, go out of peak season. Most of the people who go there take children, if you can take your holiday at a time when the children are at school, you will miss the worst of the crowds. 10. Remember that September in Florida means hurricanes and rain. It is a good time to go as far as getting good deals and less queues, but you will take a gamble with the weather. 11.
