His accounts of the battles and the more tense moments during the Revolution are impossible to put down. And the reader truly comes away with a great appreciation for what each side went through in America's first civil war.

Shaara is a terrific writer and anyone who reads his novelization of the American Revolution is in for a treat -- as well as a good, old-fashioned (and, in most cases, much needed) dose of healthy inspiration.
