Manifesting Your Dreams

In astrology, goals, dreams, hopes and wishes are usually attributed to the 11th house of the natal chart. This slice of your astrological profile will say something about what you wish for on a grand scale. What planets you have in the 11th house shows what it is you do to achieve your goals, and the sign that rules the 11th house in your chart will say something about what kinds of goals you have.

For example, if you have Leo on your 11th house cusp, you may have high and lofty dreams. You may imagine a life where you are in control of yourself and your resources. If you have Mars there as well, you may be the kind of person who goes after exactly what you want. If you have Neptune there, on the other hand, you may be the type of person who spends more time dreaming about your dreams than reaching them.

Though the 11th house does say a lot about what your dreams are, there are other parts of the natal chart you can look to in order to understand and manifest your dreams. Each house, with sign and/or planets involved, can tell you about your dreams in different areas of your life. The 1st house can show your desire for physical fitness or cosmetic looks. The 2nd house will say something about your finances, and what you want materially from life. Your third house can show what you want in your day-to-day life. Your 4th house talks about your ideals for the perfect home life. Your 5th house shows your ability to be creative and your feelings about children. Your 6th house shows what kind of work you desire. Your 7th house shows what you want in a relationship. Your 8th house will say something about how you feel towards reaching for the unknown. Your 9th house shows your aspirations for education. Your 10th house shows how you climb the social ladder and view your career. Your 12th house shows what you wish for unconsciously, in your dreams and unconscious actions and patterns.

In every single area of our lives we hold goals, dreams, aspirations. Each person will have their priorities for the importance of achieving the different goals, and this is reflected in the natal chart.

The trine and sextile aspects between two or more planets in a chart can also give us clues to your abilities, things that come naturally to you. Some of these things you will already be aware of. At times, though, these aspects can reveal a hidden talent you have never used!
