Having claimed the promises of God for the answer of our petition, we rise from our knees believing Him for the answer. Prayer does not depend upon feeling, but on God. "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you" (Acts 1:8).

The Lord's Prayer is not just words to recite, but principles to realize. If we will remember these principles, we will receive the spiritual rewards for which prayer was given. The principles of prayer taught through the Lord's Prayer.
