No one is talking much about special U.S. Congressional hearings that were underway last week. Wire services have been all but silent; there has been no CNN coverage. Television's Nightly News hasn't covered it; neither Nightline or 20/20 has shown any interest; not 60 Minutes. Not even local TV and radio stations are expressing an interest, and you would have to look hard, buried deep in the section's pages, to find any newspaper coverage about the event.
Yet at least one noted scientist and a number of credible witnesses have been testifying before a Congressional Committee in an attempt to force the government into recognizing the existence of extraterrestrial life and to open a public investigation into what high-clearance government officials may already know but are keeping from the general public. It's difficult to believe that such a prestigious group of professionals and witnesses are publicly testifying before Congress about the existence of extraterrestrial life on earth without so much as a mild interest by the press and media. But that is exactly what has been happening. A University of New Hampshire professor has been presenting evidence this month in Washington he says proves that aliens have visited Earth and the government is suppressing breakthrough technology we’ve stolen from them. "The implications of this are enormous," says Theodore Loder, a professor of chemical oceanology at UNH’;s Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans and Space. "It’s going to change the way we do things on the planet." Loder has been a faculty member at the University of New Hampshire since 1972. He has led a number of projects focusing on the relationship between land-based runoff and the marine ecosystem. He admits he has had a lifelong casual interest in UFO phenomena, but began serious study of the issues after learning they were real in the mid-1990s from a cousin who is a brigadier general in the Army National Guard Reserves. A panel of military and civilian and government witnesses have testified along with Loder, who says the government is covering up the truth about extraterrestrial visitation because we have demonstrated hostility toward former visitors, have even shot down spacecraft and stolen and adapted alien technologies. The panel of witnesses providing testimony include former division chief of the Accidents and Investigations branch of the Federal Aviation Administration, John Callahan. Major George A. Filer III, former Air Force Intelligence; and Graham Bethune, retired Navy commander pilot with top-secret clearance, have also provided testimony. Loder has provided Congressional committee members with video-taped interviews of dozen of government and military witnesses. He wants Congress to hold open hearings on the issue and to provide full disclosure of what the government knows but are refusing to talk about. Go To Page: 1 2
