Colorado's Mysterious Valley, Part I

valley, it's possible that a resident in Crestone, located on the Eastern border of the valley, can see the same anomaly in the sky as can a resident of Saguche, near the western side of the valley. By contacting the next person on the list, a large array of possible witnesses can stroll out into their front yards and confirm a sighting by a witness across the valley and in another community. O'Brien says the remedial but effective method of reporting and confirming has produced a large number of successful results, providing UFO investigators the opportunity to interview witnesses who may have seen the same thing but from a different prospective.

It's common that many of the witnesses are visitors to the valley. The Great Sand Dunes Monument attracts thousands of annual visitors, most of them campers, who often experience the strange lights in the sky and report them to whoever will listen. Similarly, travelers and truckers who traverse the valley at night are often witnesses of many UFO sightings. In fact, sightings are so commonplace in the valley that the region has become a popular destination for UFO investigators and thrill seekers who come to the area in hopes of seeing one of the many strange objects that frequent the valley skyways.

Can these strange sightings be explained? What about the superstitions of many of the local residents, who believe supernatural powers are at work in the ancient valley? Is there real evidence of secret military operations in the valley, and can the rash of animal mutilations be reasonably explained? Join us next week for the second and final part of "Colorado's Mysterious Valley".
