Do You Really Want That Kid Driving??
The parents who have had the best luck with giving their troubled teens a car have been the parents who waited until that child could behave responsibly and SOBERLY. The majority of the parents I've talked to who gave their out of control teens cars have found it did nothing but open a Pandora's box of trouble. Why? Thomas Paine said it best, "What we obtain too cheaply, we esteem too lightly; 'Tis dearness only that gives everything its value."
