I was surfing the web recently and ran into a couple of wonderful travelogue multi-sites (a number of travelogues on one site). I also checked out some great personal travelogues worthy of note.
I want everyone's blood pumping to share their own personal travel stories.
Traveling with Ed and Julie is chock full of travelogues on Europe including Switzerland, England, Italy, France, and Malta as well as tips covering the USA, Mexico and more. The personal travel tales are tucked into an incredibly useful travel information site. One of the great articles on the site is Dressing for Success, offering very useful suggestions on how not to offend as well as what to wear to be comfortable while you gallivanting around the globe. Traveling with Ed and Julie also suggested the following site. The Travelzine.com, by Don and Linda Freedman, offers a multitude of well-written travelogues. "A strictly non-commercial source of information for those who love to travel," the site begins. "We think The Travelzine is for independent travelers who know that anticipation is half the fun, and that the joy of travel is that much greater for the people you meet, and the experiences you share." I couldn't agree more. Beyond the personal tips and tricks, my fave article is How to Travel Out of One Carry-on Bag for a Month - a lesson we would all be wise to learn. The Llama Bunch - I really enjoyed the site's layout, fun use of graphics and the multi-media presentation. The travelogue is about a trip to California and is a very entertaining read. The personal travel tale is one of the most useful preparations to any trip. The travelogue is also a great start to a first person travel article. Write your own travelogue by starting with a favourite trip, writing down your memories and suggestions as if you were advising a good friend on their upcoming trip. Keep working on your story, stuffing it with valuable info and witty insights. Until next time.... Go To Page: 1 2
