With their tag line "off the sideline - into the game" this site on after school sports leagues for athletes with physical disabilities or visual impairments will get your imagination racing and maybe get you hooked up with a sports team to travel with.

Canadian Disabled Alpine Ski Team

This site profiles the Canadian Disabled Alpine Ski Team and also provides useful information on skiing with a disability.

Challenge Magazine (Print)

Sports coverage by Disabled Sports USA. A print magazine featuring and online archive.

Handicapped Scuba Association International

Go get wet! Self-described as an organization that has "dedicated itself to improving the physical and social well being of people with disabilities through the exhilarating sport of scuba diving and in doing so has become the worldwide authority in the field." They are the experts who can point you to scuba training, accessible dives, and the dive community.

International Foundation for Disabled Sailing

A U.K.-based organization that promotes sailing and sailing competition for people with disabilities. Interesting news from around the world, calendars of races and resources for learning to sail.

I have participated in this organization's event and met its staff and volunteers. Quality stuff! No wonder people come from around the US to participate in their events.
