The Crystal City: Visiting Waterford

Reginald's Tower
Museums are, naturally, always popular during those inevitable rainy Irish days. Try the newest one, The Granary. Housed in an interesting metal and glass, very mod building, the collection boasts historic artifacts from local history dating back up to 1,000 years ago. You'll also find impressive historic artifacts at The Waterford Heritage Museum.

The city also offers the visitor a quality selection of restaurants and, in fine Irish tradition, a great collection of Irish pubs. It is certainly worthy of a least a weekend break.
