If you like traveling and can't resist the lure of Walt Disney World, then you might consider TechLearn 2002. The event is co-located with the World eLearning Congress on October 27-30. The theme of TechLearn 2002 is The Futures of Learning.

According to Elliott Masie, "TechLearn is NOT another e-Learning event. We address the full range of deploying learning, training and teche-Learningincluding e-Learning, digital collaboration, learning management, instructional design, new models of classroom training and aligning learning with business drivers and outcomes."

To add to the fun, comedian and author Dave Barry will present a keynote talk about "strange things that happen when people use technology and even stranger things when people try to learn something new."

Of course, attending a conference at Walt Disney World has its price. The tuition for TechLearn 2002 is $1149.
