Although not the most impressive site when it comes to track and field (listed under "athletics") Sydney 2000 http://www.olympics.com/eng/ the official site of the 2000 Olympic Games, is a quality resource. All the medal winners are listed and you can do a search by an athlete's name to find out how he or she did, including heat results. Biographies, press releases, a historical perspective and a very small gallery of track and field photos are also included here. ESPN.com http://espn.go.com/oly/summer00/trackfie... provides a look at the 2000 Games as well. The track and field coverage is adequate with a selection of news and feature stories as well as columns posted here. The site also includes day-by-day and complete results. CBS Sportsline http://olympics.sportsline.com/ also has a Web site devoted to the Games. New stories and completed medal results are featured, although the pickings are a little slim when it comes to track and field.
