An additional obstacle is what I call a lack of coupon capital. Not only does financial hardship limit access to coupons (because of the small, but inhibitive price of purchasing a Sunday newspaper), the parameters of coupon offers often lie outside of the individual's means. Coupons which proclaim, "buy two, get one free," or "get 50 cents off three or more" either force a choice between dietetic bulk and variety or exclude purchase altogether because the cumulative price exceeds current cash amounts. This said, there are a number of stores, including Walgreen's, which make store coupons available to customers (at no cost) as they enter the property. Look for Part II of III, coming soon!
